Ceramics makes me feel free. I like molding something in my hands, building freely, finding the form in my work, and refining it until I feel done.
I specialize in hand-building techniques, building small to large-scale works. I particularly enjoy adding texture to surfaces via carving and pinching, firing to cone 10, and mixing my own colorful high-fire glazes.
