Memories of a Funeral

18 x 24 inches
Monoprint, water-based ink on paper
2021

This set of 6 monoprints explores the use of abstract visuals to tell a story about a specific place and time: a funeral. The nature of using various prints and assembling them allows for spatial consideration during the presentation of the work. I hold an interest in exploring cultural themes of death and ideas of beauty and life.
